Bangalore to Mangalore Ride Statistics (I do this also for my future reference):

822 Total trip Kilometres.
378 one way… 8.30 hours Bangalore – Mangalore and 7.15 hours on return from Mangalore to Bangalore ( left early, reached in afternoon, faced no peak hour traffic in Bangalore City)
Followed my habit of riding for 150 kms or two hours non-stop whichever is early.
Tried going to Bekal Fort which is in Kerala, just 55 kms from Mangalore… Rode for 25 kms and turned back mid way as the complete Highway was crowded and under road widening/ construction.
Avoid Shirdi Ghat Highway as it’s under repair/ widening ( as always 😅) hence took route via Belur… Decent road, glad I took this route.
Average per Kms improved of Kawasaki Vulcan from 19 kms/litre to 21 Kms/Litre after i did this –
